Musical Services
Clarinet Info

As a Clarinetist, I offer the following services:

I have experience as an adjudicator for:
- Fairfax County Solo and Ensemble Festivals
- Fairfax and Loudoun County All-District Band Auditions
- Lions Club James Bland Music Scholarship Competitions
- Loudoun Arts Council Excellence in the Arts Instrumental Competitions

PRIVATE INSTRUCTOR: I teach private clarinet lessons by appointment in my home studio in the North Point area of Reston, Virginia. Students range from beginners through advanced high school and college players. Home-schooled and adult students are welcome. No prior musical experience is required.

CLARINET TECHNIQUE INSTRUCTOR: I have been a Clarinet Technique Instructor at the Vienna Band Camp for the past two summers. The Vienna Band Camp is the largest band camp in Northern Virginia, with over 400 students (approximately 100 clarinet students), and runs each summer for four weeks. Students from fourth through ninth grade are grouped by ability into four class levels: Beginners, Cadet Band, Concert Band and Symphonic Band. Each class receives daily technique instruction.

CLARINET SECTIONAL COACH AND MASTER CLASS INSTRUCTOR: I conduct Master Classes and Sectional Rehearsals for Elementary, Middle and High School students in Fairfax and Loudoun County schools.

I can provide live music to enhance any event:
Funerals and Memorial Services
Holiday Celebrations
Corporate Events

I can provide a piano accompanist, or work with a pianist or organist selected by you.

I can also provide woodwind ensembles:

The Turnbridge Trio
(Clarinet, Flute and Oboe, or Clarinet and Two Flutes)

Quintessence Woodwind Quintet
(Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, and French Horn)

Whatever your musical needs, I will work with you to select the right music and appropriate musicians to enhance your special event. The result will be heartfelt, professionally performed music that you and your guests will find inspiring and memorable.

I am available as a free-lance recording artist. My recording experience includes educational CD's for Walking Frog Records (with the Virginia Grand Military Band), and solo recordings, such as the theme music for Paul Leavitt's musical score to "The Last Refuge," a documentary film that premiered at the Library of Congress in 2003.
